The Baladi platform contains more than 200 municipal services that will facilitate the lives of citizens, as more than 200 electronic services have been automated so that the user can complete all his interests, whether they are related to business or private business to build a house or life necessities and others.
Work has been done to improve the customer experience. We are required to cooperate with the Customer Journey Management and the Analysis Department in order to work on improving the customer experience. The stages of development included studying and analyzing municipal services from the beginning until the completion of the service and then recording problems related to the user experience. After that, the importance of these problems to the user is analyzed. (high importance, medium importance, low importance) and then make recommendations regarding a way to solve these problems, after that, the service is redesigned. We have been focusing on analyzing various municipal services and studying the customer experience to enhance their satisfaction. Our team is collaborating with business analysts and municipal product owners to examine the PRD and identify the most effective approach to delivering municipal services
Work has been done to create a design system for Baldy, which includes many cases that the platform needs to display services in the best possible way, by following the best practice for UX web design. It was worked on in cooperation with the team within the Figma program, and the component was built for all the elements that are frequently needed according to the needs of the platform and under the system of designing the platform's identity. The establishment of a design system was a necessity under the realization of several factors, including speed in work and Consistency and Standards, as after determining the elements that will be used, a component was built for each element with several cases, for the purpose of comprehensiveness, so that the design system is comprehensive for all topics, and it is constantly updated.
Based on this the platform contains a high number of digital municipal services, each of which has its own needs and works differently from the others. Therefore, service design always faces some challenges to simplify the service and stay under the platform identity.
